Project 3:
Social Media
It all begins with a person reaching out. This is a project I completed for a creativity mentor. They wanted to promote their podcast and I created social media posts with quotes from their podcast.
Defining Your Self Image
For the first image we wanted to keep it playful. The text would be the same throughout the posts to repeat the message. This first background was inspired by the wavy lines throughout the 60’s and 70’s. The sharp design on the house plants and the san serif brings the picture back into the modern era.
Brainstorm in Progress
This second design I went with the same type, but a different background to repeat the message. The background is inspired the sun’s rays and plant petals. I wanted it to feel positive and that there was a sense of depth.
Let’s Change
This third design is based on growth and it repeats the message of the previous posts. Growth is an important element to the creativity podcast and I wanted to represent that here. The foliage has a hand drawn feeling to separate it from the sharp and modern text in front of it.
Change is Evolution
This final fourth design is pulling psychedelic elects from the first piece. Since they are a creativity mentor I see that their work is constantly evolving and changing and I wanted to represent that with this series of designs.
