Mood Board
Starting this project off with a solid mood board helps me when I move on to the sketching stages. I always research rival brands, companies, or places when putting together a mood board. To convey the theme of nature I use greens and blues throughout the color palette.
I hardly ever start out in black and white when I sketch. Most of the time I like to use reds or blues to quickly sketch out ideas. The brighter colors help me stay creative and engaged with what I’m sketching out.
While this was strictly a design based project I wanted to add a little whimsy to it. Overall, the feel for this dog park was to be slightly abstract and light-hearted.
